Shake It Up!

Let's shake things up and make a shaker card!

This card uses the Snowy Scenes Suite Collection. You will also need:

Ink: Memento Black, Pool Party, Petal Pink, Garden Green ink pads; Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry markers

Paper: Pool Party, Basic White, Pecan Pie, Garden Green, Petal Pink

Other: Window Sheet, Foam Adhesive Strips

I started this card by trimming down one of the pieces of DSP to 5-1/4 x 4. I used the large globe die to cut out my window on the DSP.

I stamped the little dots image all over my background, then added die cut mountains, and trees for a little more dimension.

I then glued that piece to the card base (please forgive how crooked it is, but you won't be able to see that once I covered it with the DSP). I then added snowflakes (both stamped, die cut, and the little white loose snowflakes) and the penguin loosely on the stamped background. These are the pieces that I wanted to move around when I shake my card.

Next, I glued down a window sheet on the back side of the DSP, and put down the Foam Adhesive Strips all along my window opening. This is what creates the barrier for my shaker. I added more of the Foam Adhesive strips to the top and bottom of the DSP, then added it to my card front.

I die cut my snow globe base out of Pecan Pie CS, stamped "Let it Snow" using Memento Black, then embossed it with the Timber EF.

I added it and a cute stamped, die cut snowman to the front as well to finish it.

There are lots of images in the DSP that can be cut with the dies, as well!

This is such a fun suite to play with and I've got several more card ideas in mind for this one!
